Bottom Line – Two Rings

INTRODUCTION

The Junior Vacumatic measures approximately 14 mm wide and 124 mm long when closed. It was introduced as a more affordable alternative to the Top Line series.

Bottom Line models have:

• Two cap bands
• Black clip screw and tassie jewels
• Black sections (from 1938)
• Shorter overall length than Top Line models

1933 LINE-UP

• Black Opaque
• Red Opaque
• Grey Opaque
• Crystal (transparent body)

Early nib: 1-tone "PARKER VACUMATIC MADE IN USA" (no arrow). Later replaced by 1-tone "USA PARKER".

1934–1935 CHANGES

• Red Marble
• Grey Marble
• Black Opaque (continued)
• Crystal

In 1935 the Crystal was replaced with a Black Windowed version. Green Marble was introduced.

In 1935 the 1-tone "PARKER USA" nib was introduced.

In 1939 the Junior adopted the redesigned Speedline filler. Transitional models exist with pre-1939 caps and 1939 bodies. See the comparison page.
