In 1937 Parker redesigned the Vacumatic line and introduced the Speedline filler, creating a more streamlined aesthetic.
The Oversize became the Senior Maxima, the Senior became the Slender Maxima, and the Standard and Slender models were also redesigned.
However, the earlier square Lockdown versions were not discontinued until 1939. For a brief period in the late 1930s three versions of the Standard were offered simultaneously:

They were available in five standard colours:
The streamlined Standard was discontinued in 1940 and replaced by the Major .
