Sub-Deb
Smallest Bottom Line Speedline
INTRODUCTION
The Sub-Deb Speedline was the smallest model in the Bottom Line
Speedline range.
It succeeded the earlier Sub Junior and Lockdown Slender models
when Parker introduced the Speedline filler in 1937.
The Sub-Deb was designed as a compact, slim pen,
often marketed toward women or as a pocket-size model.
IDENTIFICATION FEATURES
- Very slim barrel
- Narrow cap band (plain or chevron depending on year)
- Black jewels
- Aluminium Speedline filler (1937–1941)
- Smaller than Debutante
DIMENSIONS
- Approx. 11–12 mm wide
- Approx. 110–115 mm long (closed)
Production measurements may vary slightly.
CLIP VARIATIONS
- Arrow clip (1937–1939)
- Blue Diamond clip (1939 onward)
Like other Bottom Line models, the jewels remained black.
