Slender Bottom Line Model

INTRODUCTION

The Debutante Speedline replaced the earlier Junior Slender / Juniorette Lockdown models when Parker introduced the Speedline filler in 1937.

It was part of the Bottom Line series and targeted a slimmer profile, often marketed toward women.

IDENTIFICATION FEATURES

• Chevron cap band (narrower than Major)
• Two narrow cap bands in some early versions
• Aluminium Speedline filler (1937–1941)
• Smaller and slimmer than Junior
• Black jewels

DIMENSIONS

• Approx. 12 mm wide
• Approx. 118–121 mm long (closed)

Measurements may vary slightly.

CLIP VARIATIONS

• Arrow clip (1937–1939)
• Blue Diamond clip (1939 onward)

Unlike Top Line models, the jewels remained black.
